Karura
This body painting tells the story of karura, the firebird, the ascent from darkness (feet-pelvis) to light (bust-face). It represents the inner journey that this animal spirit helps us make during the dark night of the soul, descending into the depths of the underworld, that place where the greatest fears and fragilities hide, which try to keep us prisoners in the mental cage. As it rises, it has the strength to integrate them and bring them with awareness beyond judgment, good and evil, thus transforming them into pure energy, from enemies to powerful allies. Then flying together, with trust and love towards the sun, our inner light, the door of the heart and infinite possibilities.
