This abstract bodypainting was created to represent the cohesion between two opposites: inside and outside, irrational and rational , internal and external.
The body and the head are completely painted with elegant and cold shades,that range from sea-green to purple, fade into each other.
Above this shades of colors: powerfull and essential black strokes , that follow the body lines enhancing its curves, converging in some points and diverge from others . This strokes , guide the spectator through abstract and at the same time really phisical flows. In some points, the black color is creating a “net” , which represents the necessary and inevitable connection between the two opposites, where the languages contaminate each other: the lines fold up and close, the color is intensified in the shadows. And if the spectator should notice a distant call of the world of insects, maybe he or she can think about the mayflies, a type of insect who lives for one day and for one night only …
